"Pray without ceasing"

"Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17); "Men ought always to pray" (Luke 18:1); "continuing instant in prayer" (Romans 12:12); "praying always with all prayer and supplication" (Ephesians 6:18; cf. Colossians 4:2).  Scripture teaching is clear, yet most of us recognise that we do not 'pray without ceasing'. 

How frequently we pray, and for how long, will depend very much on our temperament and our circumstances.  The point about 'unceasing prayer' is not that we are always on our knees, but that we have minds regularly, if possible constantly, attuned to spiritual things and conscious of God's presence.

The aim of this blog is to post anything that relates to the Scriptures that may help us retain and strengthen our faith in what we strongly believe are the last days before Christ returns to the earth.  
You'll find that the look of the site will change - I haven't finished messing with it yet so it's still a little rough.  But I really wanted to get it up and running because there is so much that is happening in the world currently that is so exciting with regards to prophecy.  Ultimately the most important thing is not what the page looks like right now but that it actually serves a purpose.
